New Era for the Cambridge Economy(NECE)
The New Era for the Cambridge Economy (NECE) research is intended to provoke discussion and inform the agenda for the post-pandemic economy in the Cambridge city region, and provide thought leadership for other cities across the country and the world.
NECE considers how decisions taken today can grasp long-term opportunities presented by changing behaviours. Recognising and responding to these opportunities will positively influence how people live, work and travel in future to deliver a fairer, greener city region.
Our first output of the NECE research is a new report: A New Era for the Cambridge Economy. Launched at an event at the end of March the report reflects on the changes which the society and economy of Cambridge are experiencing and identifies what the priorities are now to embed change that has happened for the better.
